MOVING DAY! This is Candace's new home--it really is a nice location. Ryan and Shandee Lott, Mom, Dad, and Alycen along with Seth, Dawes, Taeg and I helped her move in.
Thought I'd show you all just a snapshot of what Candace has been up to in the weeks prior to the move. I went to help a couple different times and was amazed at all she was doing. This is the kitchen after tearing out the old cabinets and getting it prepped for paint. I'll just show you this room but every room except one bathroom of this 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath town house was torn down to about this level and then patched, painted, carpeted and tiled. It is looking so nice now--like a new home, but sooooo much work.
Making progess--paint is on the walls and part of the cabinets in. Brad and Laree have been absolutely amazing in their help with this major remodel. I know Candace would say there is no way she could have done this without them.
Almost finished! Dad finished getting the kitchen sink in Saturday night and Mom helped get a few of the boxes unloaded. There is still plenty to be done but it's amazing what was accomplished in 3 weeks.
Coloring eggs at our house (the big boys were enjoying a couple of days at aunt Melanie's) and getting to spend time with Christensen cousins hunting easter eggs at the Christensen lodge--sooo fun!
fun stuff, not jealous of the work, but I agree with the greatness of getting together with family. Alycen is adorable! Tell Candace Hi. We think about her often. This house looks like a great place to be. We'll see you all in May! I did update but didn't e-mail anyone. Take care.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Does that make you cry to watch your super cute little sis perform? I would get teary myself. That's for sure.
You have been such a great help Joy, as well as Brad and Laree. It looks like Easter was a lot of fun with the younger boys!
